Webcam off - Windows 7

You are afraid to take a hacker to remotely control the webcam built into your computer? You can easily disable it.

1. Click the Start button and then click Control Panel.
   
   
2. Click Hardware and Sound.
   
   
3. Then click on Device Manager under Devices and Printers.
   
   
4. Scroll down the Device section image acquisition appears to make your webcam. Click with the right mouse button.
   
   
5. In the menu that appears, select Disable.
   
   
6. Click Yes.
   
   
7. You or a malicious person can not longer use the webcam on your computer.
   
   
8. If you want to restore, then retry the operation and choose Enable after a right click on the webcam in the Device Manager.
